Michelle Rouch is a self-taught artist, who combines technical knowledge and accuracy with ability to define abstraction between finite lines. She continues to range over the full spectrum, which includes portraits, architecture, marine, aviation, landscape, and astronomical subjects. Rouch has more than 30 years of art experience.
She is a professional member with American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and an artist member of International Association of Astronomical Artists (IAAA) and American Society of Aviation Artists (ASAA). Rouch's strong technical systems engineering background offers the foundation for her artistic ability to draw aviation and astronomical subjects. Her works have been exhibited at the Pentagon, Fleet Week, Marine's Memorial Hotel, Spacefest, EAA AirVenture, Living Legends of Aviation, LearJet, Pima Air & Space Museum, Kitt Peak National Observatory, Tohono O'odham Nation Cultural Center, National Optical Astronomy Observatory (NOAO) Science Symposium, Raytheon, University of Arizona Science Center, University of Arizona Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, Steward Observatory, Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, San Diego Air & Space Museum, SimuFlite, Lancaster Museum, and at the Tucson International Airport. Her works are on permanent display on the USS Hornet and at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum.
She is committed in giving back to the community by donating her works for fundraisers, such as Boy Scouts of America, EAA Young Eagles Program, University of Arizona, American Legion, Pima Air & Space Museum, Rotary Club of Tucson, Wright Flight, and Kiddie Hawk Air Academy, as well as donates her time to support American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Kids Club, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) program.
