Extragalactic Jupiters
This painting was a commission by SCIENCE DIGEST magazine, circa 1985. I was to do three illustrations for an article on missing mass in the universe. This one was the centerpiece.
One of the theories said the missing mass that seemed to constrain galaxies was due to large planets between the galaxies. Very dark and cold.
