MAN & MACHINE
by Pamela Lee
Gene Cernan of Apollo 17, stands beside his trusty Lunar Rover, in this 'hero' pose.
It has everything an off-road (NO road) moonwalker needs: Ultra reliability, a place for all tool need. As much speed (15 MPH) as you can safely handle in 1/6 Earth gravity, communication with home, a navigation system, cameras, though no lights, rear view mirror, or horn. It made possible an exploration radius of miles rather than yards. A most invaluable addition. Gallery wrapped canvas Giclee Edition of 10, 12x12
It also has a "gallery wrapped" canvas, which needs no frame, because the canvas is stretched behind, stapled in place on the back, and the sides are then painted black. A hanging wire is installed, and it's ready to hang. Signed and numbered by the artist.
