DAVID AND GOLIATH

Most stars are members of a binary or multiple star system. Typically the stars are of two different types orbiting each other.

Here a red supergiant star is being slowly devoured by a smaller, younger, more energetic blue-white star. (Kind of like life, isn't it?)
