Images from the some of the world's most famous ground-based telescopes, a Mars over, plus informative posters of the nearby universe, Solar System, and the moon.

Kitt Peak is the U.S. National observatory, located on a 7000 ft. peak southwest of Tucson, AZ. There are 18 telescopes of every size and variety, the largest is the 4-meter atop the highest hill.
Kitt Peak 		The first panorama done by the first Mars rover, Sojourner in 1997. This 32" (36" with black border) is a full 180-degree panorama.

Solar System Poster 		The nearest galaxy, also known as M-31,is a twin to our Milky Way. It can be seen as a fuzzy patch in the Northern Sky. It is 100,000 light-years across, and 3 million light years away. It is on a collision course with us.
Andromeda Galaxy 		The two completely different regions of the Red Planet. The top shows the canyonlands and volcanoes of Tharsis, the other the heavily cratered highlands and Syrtis Major. Very detailed.
2 Faces of Mars
The famous Horsehead Nebula, a dark column of dust extending into a red nebula, is in the constellation of Orion, a stellar nursery of colorful nebulae.
The Horsehead Nebula 		There are lots of posters of the "Seven Sisters", or Pleiades Cluster, but this one has the best color, detail, and quality. Blue nebulae are "reflection" nebulae, and are usually starlight scattered off thin dust clouds.
The Pleiades 		This most widely seen view of the full moon was produced by Norm Sperling, an editor of Sky and Telescope magazine in the 1980's.
The Moon 		This poster is a nicely detailed moon globe, with nomenclature. There are two projections at the bottom of the poster, a polar view and a farside view. Ideal for astronaut autographs.

European version 		One of the most popular targets of astronomers, the Trifid Nebula in Sagittarius is one of the most colorful nebulae in the sky.
Trifid Nebula 		Back by popular demand! Perhaps the most colorful region of the sky, this area around the giant star Antares was unavailable the past few years.
Rho Ophiuchus
