This was our first "commissioned print", although the original painting was done in 1980. As a commissioned print, we announced the upcoming release of the print in December 1992. We took orders for the print until January 31, 1993. The edition size was then determined by the number of orders received, in this case 420. The print was therefore sold out upon release.
